Islamabad, Jul 18 (IANS): Indian stand-up comedian Sanjay Rajoura's performance was well-received in Karachi where he discussed striking a friendship with female students to India's obsession with Sachin Tendulkar.
The Delhi-based stand-up comedian Monday discussed everyday problems and issues faced by the average Indians.
Dawn said that everything was discussed - right from admission in college on a sports quota to striking friendship with female students, dating modern Indian women to foreigners and their naive perceptions of India.
He also spoke about the anomalies between what was considered representing Indian culture by the Indian government and what wasn't. He also joked about about cricket, Shahid Afridi and India's obsession with Sachin Tendulkar.
When Rajoura was whether Pakistanis and Indians shared the same sense of humour, he said: "...what gives you satisfaction is that people understood your point."
