Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha Fajir unit organises Sarthaka Sambrahma

Mangaluru, Apr 10: Our Lady of Mercy Church Fajir, Catholic Sabha Fajir unit organised, 'Saarthaka Sambrahma' on April 9, Easter Sunday at Fajir church premises.

Fr Anil Joel D'Souza, parish priest, Fr Deep Fernandes, guest priest, Sr Vijaya, convent superior, Valerian D'Souza, varado Catholic Sabha president, Maxim Fernandes, president Catholic Sabha Fajir, Vincent D'Souza, secretary Catholic Sabha, Preetham Noronha, parish council secretary, Hilary D'Souza convenor, Florine D'Souza, president-elect Catholic Sabha Fajir, and Steevan Loy D'Souza, secretary-elect were present on the dais.

Prize were distributed to the winners who actively participated in various competitions held by Catholic Sabha Fajir unit. TThrough this programme, the unit collected offertory from donnors under 'Faska Barvaso' project. They helped several families and celebrated Easter in a different way by giving a good message to the society. On this occasion, 'Kurepat' drama written and directed by Dr Devdas Kapikad was staged.

Actor Devdas made the young and old laugh and be happy. The play kept the audience glued to their seats, and took them into the world of laughter minute by minute. Preetham Noronha compered the event.
