BJP Mahila Morcha workshop in Udupi on April 21

Udupi, Apr 19: Shyamala Kundar, co convener of state BJP Mahila Morcha said that workshop of Shivamogga and Mangaluru division of women BJP will be held at district BJP office on April 21.

Speaking at the press conference in the city, Shyamala said, “There are many women workers in our party. They will play a deciding factor in this election. Today, work related to women is going on fine in the state. Jyothi Shet, vice president of BJP national Mahila Morcha will inaugurate the programme. Ashwini M L, member of national executive and co-incharge of Karnataka Mahila Morcha will also take part. Around 90 to 95 women from every legislative constituency of total six districts will take part. Workers from Goa, Kerala and Delhi will take part and guide.

“Preparations of uniting women through special processions and huddles is also underway. There are many women beneficiaries with us. We will speak with them and hold a special programme called ‘Selfie with Mahila Labarti’. Our women workers are doing good job in ensuring implementation of cental and state government schemes provided for women,” she said.

Veena Shetty, president of Udupi district Mahila Morcha, Shilpa Suvarna, chief secretary of state Mahila Morcha and Nalini Pradeep, convener of district Mahila Morcha were present.
