Bantwal, Apr 19: Bantwal assembly constituency Congress candidate and former minister, B Ramanath Rai, visited the veteran Congress leader and former union minister, Janaradhan Poojary, at his residence to receive his blessings on Wednesday, April 19. Rai also enquired about the welfare of the senior leader.
On Thursday, at 9 am, B Ramanath Rai will proceed in a rally with a large number of supporters from near the Venkataramana temple in Bantwal and file his nomination at the Mini Vidhan Soudha.
“People are devastated by the price rises. As nobody is speaking about it, Ramanath Rai should come out victorious,” opined Janardhan Poojary.
Present at the meeting were Bantwal block Congress president Baby Kunder, Panemangalore block Congress president Sudeep Kumar Shetty, KPCC members Pius L Rodrigues, Chandraprakash Shetty, Padmashekar Jain, Mayilappa Salian, and others.
