M'luru: Police to provide security as Congress, BJP candidates file nominations on Apr 20

Mangaluru, Apr 19: Congress candidate U T Khader and BJP candidate Sathish Kumpala will hold rallies on foot and file their nominations on April 20.

To prevent any untoward incidents, strict police security will be deployed in the sensitive Ullal area.

The BJP rally will start from Pandith House and end at Thokkottu at 9 am, while the Congress rally will begin from Ullal Bail and end in Ullal. Both parties have invited a large number of activists to show their strength.

Considering the commotion that occurred in Beltangady the other day, the Mangaluru police commissioner has ordered KSRP platoons, Konaje and Ullal station police to provide strict security during the event.
