Kundapur: Students of Excellent PU College bag five ranks in II PUC exams

Kundapur, April 21: Five students of Excellent PU College, Kundapura have bagged five state-level ranks in the second PUC exams.

PCMC division student Vasavi Bolar has secured 592 marks in Science and has secured the fifth rank in the state and third rank in the district. Commerce section student Amogha Shetty has secured 591 marks and has bagged the seventh rank in the state and fourth rank in the district. She secured 100 marks each in three subjects.

Sneha secured 590 marks and has achieved the eighth rank in the state and fifth in the district. Pranita Adiga secured 588 marks and got the ninth rank. Srinidhi secured 587 marks and scored tenth rank in the state.

In all 143 students out of 225 students passed with distinction and 69 students passed in first class. 44 students secured more than 95% marks and made the college and their parents proud.

Sujnana Education Trust president Dr Ramesh Shetty, secretary Pratapchandra Shetty and treasurer Bharath Shetty said that the college has provided quality education with the help of expert teachers which enabled the students to secure ranks.

M M Hegde Education and Charitable Trust president M Mahesh Hegde has congratulated all the students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
