Mangalore: Foot Board Traveller Meets Unfortunate Death

Mangalore, Sep 2: An unsuspecting passenger travelling on the footboard of a city bus on the evening of Sunday August 31, died near Ullal.

A bus moving towards Ullal from Mangalore at about 7.30 pm, was being driven rashly and negligigently. As the driver suddenly applied the brake, Sudhir travelling on the rear footboard, sustained grievous injuries after slipping and falling on the road. His head took the impact of the fall and sustained grave injuries. He was shifted to a private hospital in Ullal, where he died, as he did not respond to treatments.

A case has been registered against the city bus driver Rajesh.
