Kundapur: Bank Manager Crushed by Speeding Train near Byndoor

Kundapur, Sep 2: Krishna Poojary (48), working as the manager of the Agricultural Service Cooperative Bank at Byndoor near here, died after accidentally coming under a speeding train.

Krishna Poojary was crossing the railway tracks near Mayyadi in Byndoor, when the tragedy occurred. It appears, he could not gauge the speed of the Marusagar Express which was fast approaching, when he was crossing the tracks. His body was crushed and torn into several pieces in the accident.

He was from Kaluvadi in Byndoor village. Railway and Byndoor police visited the spot and conducted inquest.
