Mangalore, Sep 3: Executive director(ED) U K Basu took over charge of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd(MRPL) here, from the retired ED Rajamani on Monday, September 1.

Speaking after taing over charge, he said that he will strive for the allround progress of the company and also extend co-operation for community development.  Later, he held consultations with officials of various departments of the company.
