Udupi: Artificial Limbs Distributed at Mudarangadi

Udupi, Sep 4: Artificial limbs and wheel-chairs were distributed to the physically challenged persons at Mudarangadi church hall recently.

The programme was organized under the aegis of Light Artificial Limbs Fixing Centre and Udupi Power Corporation Limited. A total of ten persons were provided with artificial limbs, calipers and walking sticks, at a function organized for the purpose.

Sukumar V Shetty, president of Mudarangadi Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society, presided over the function. Fr Lawrence D’Souza, parish priest of Mudarangadi church, was the chief guest.

Udupi Power Corporation officials Mukundan, Shashidhar and Sudarshan were present at the dais.

Shubhamangala welcomed the gathering. Malathi proposed vote of thanks.
