Mangalore: Thieves Decamp with Copper Wire from Electric Shop at Pumpwell

Mangalore, Sep 4: Thieves decamped with huge quantity of copper wire from an electrical gadget shop located in Pumpwell here, on the night of Wednesday September 3.

The copper wires belonged to a shop named ‘V M Associates.’ The value of the stolen wire is estimated at Rs 1.5 lac.

The thieves entered the shop by cutting open the window grills of the shop and the incident came to light when the shop owner opened the shop on Thursday September 4 morning.

Kankanady rural police have registered a case and taken up the probe.
