We've all seen such "arrests" in the past, only to be followed with even more swifter releases. It would be interesting to know the sections under which they have been arrested. I won't be surprised if they are petty charges under which bail can be obtained in a jiffy.

In the recent Iqbal murder case, the police had similarly arrested (at least they said they did) Mr. Sharan Pumpwell, a leader of the BD, who was the main culprit. Incidentally, the same person (who was supposedly arrested for murder, of all cases) was holding a press conference two weeks ago, threatening the christian community. Whatever happened to that arrest?

Finally arrested! Looks like regular type of people. If they are kept inside for one year or atleast made to run around between police station, court and lawyers and buttering to politicians, there will not be such attacks in near future. I sympathise with doctors and specially the pregnent nurse got beaten by these people. No politician should try to help these vandalisers.

Its good that the miscreants were arrested but I really doubt whether they will be punished. The case will go on for years and most of the hospital employees will desist from giving witness against these uncultured, jobless goondas who are well patronised by politicians..Its very difficult for doctors to treat really sick patients if the people of Mangalore go the Bihar or UP way.

Well done policeman of DK. Now the immediet next step is to let them free. After 2 years this case will come to and end cause there was lack of evidence. Like usual the Roudees/ Terrorists of Sangh Parivar will be free carrying out thier illegal activities with the help of DK Poilce.

very good action by police cathing the culprits and I hope they are actual culprits. But the job is only half done. Now we have to wait & see what will happen to them. Will they ever be punished for their crime or get bail and released? Once they are out they will never be punished perhaps because whatevder they did not on their own but with the help of those who do not want to see peace around us.
