Udupi: Mock Demonstration Held as Part of Disaster Management Awareness Programme

Udupi, Sep 6: The district-level disaster management awareness programme was held at Vidhyodaya Public School on Saturday September 6.


State home minister Dr V S Acharya inaugurated the programme. A mock demonstration on disaster management was held by personnel of the fire brigade and emergency service department.

The programme was jointly conducted by district the  home guards department, fire brigade, emergency service department, and Vidhyodaya group of Institutions. K Ganesh Rao, president, Rotary, Dr Ganapathi, commandant, district Homeguards department, and N Nagaraj Ballal were also present.
